Young Workers need a voice!
Have you got a McJob? Is Burger King buggering up your life? Are you Bothered as a Barista? Is your boss a bully?
No Sweat is a group of trade union activists campaigning to end sweat shop labour and exploitation of young workers here and abroad. In Leeds there is an increasing amount of low paid jobs in the service industry sometimes in poor conditions, sometimes dangerous. We want to hear from you about your experiences working in Leeds. This is a start to trying to set up union organisation in workplaces and helping to get you your rights.
Please answer the questions over to help us build up a picture of working conditions in Leeds and publicise the results. If you want to help join us we have regular organising meetings in the city centre. Contact us at leedsyoungworkers@gmail.com, visit our blog http://leedsyoungworkers.blogspot.com and post your comments there.
We also have a regular Saturday stall in town on Briggate where you can come along and discuss your concerns.
We assure you that any answers will be kept confidential (we wouldn’t want our bosses to know what we thought of them either)
